New York provides upscale space rental facilities in NYC for the Consciousness Raising Community to gather for spiritual, metaphysical and creative meetings, seminars and conferences.
Our Rooms – META Center is a Sacred Spiritual Environment comprising of three Conference Rooms and a number of Private Consultation Rooms. Each room is designed to create a welcoming environment for workshops, seminars, meditation groups, healing/consciousness events, symposiums, fairs and private sessions. All of our rooms have lots of natural light and views, room darkening and solar shades, dimmed lighting, Internet access and CD/iPod players.
Our conference room rentals include chairs, large floor pillows, white boards and healing tables. Our decor, rugs, furnishings and artifacts depict cultures from all over the globe projecting an international feel.
It is an inviting atmosphere where people throughout the world from various cultures, religions, and races are all welcome to bring their wisdom teachings to the space.
The Room Rental Agreement covers the Terms & Conditions for renting space at the META Center. You will be expected to familiarize yourself with, and adhere, to the Terms & Conditions prior to your event. The signed Agreement will cover you for this and all future bookings (unless you make a long-term or multiple date booking at a later date which will require a separate contract).
Room Setup – We arrange custom set ups to suit your event – from theatre style, to a casual circle of pillows for group meditations, to an open room for sacred dance, musical events and more. META Center staff will be responsible for setting up the room for your event and breaking it down afterwards. Please provide a detailed layout of your room set up prior to your event.
Cleanliness– In order to maintain the integrity of the space, our housekeeping department cleans daily, and we additionally cleanse the space energetically on a consistent basis. We have a NO SHOE, NO FOOD policy in the conference and consultation rooms which keeps everything as pristine as possible. Shoes & food are allowed in our lobby/reception area only. We ask that you advise your clients ahead of time about our No Shoe & No Food policy. Peds and socks are available from the reception desk.
